Refund and Returns Policy – Diplomat Translation
Welcome to Diplomat Translation’s Refund and Returns Policy. We are committed to providing exceptional translation services to our clients in Manchester, UK. Please read the following policy to understand how we handle cancellations, edits, errors, and other aspects related to our services.
Cancellation Policy:
Translation Services: Once your order is confirmed, our team promptly assigns a translator to your project. A full refund is available if your project has not been assigned. Unfortunately, we cannot issue a refund once a translator has been engaged, considering we typically assign projects immediately upon order receipt.
Partial Cancellation: We allow partial cancellations for specific services that are no longer required, provided the request has not been executed and is submitted via email to the project manager.
Interpretation Services: Cancellation fees apply for interpretation services – 50% within 3 days of the project, and 100% within 24 hours of the scheduled job.
Edits: Requests for edits, including name spellings, word preferences, or synonyms not initially provided, are accepted. Edit requests can be made as often as necessary, but they do not qualify for cashback or refunds.
Mistranslations or Errors: We strive for accurate translations and maintain a quality control process. If you discover mistranslations or errors, please inform us promptly. Refunds will be considered if the error results from our oversight and failure to meet quality standards.
Provisions: Refunds will not be issued if word preferences or name spellings are not provided in advance. If an error is due to our failure to proofread adequately, refunds will be determined based on the compromised quality.
Missing Pages: If your translation has missing sections or pages, notify us promptly. You can choose to reject the translation of the missing part or request a partial refund proportional to the missing content.
Delivery: We strive to deliver your project within the agreed-upon timeframe. The electronic copy of your translations will be delivered via email to your inbox at no cost. Free pickup from the office is also available. However, if you like us to deliver physical copies of translations to your address, delivery charges apply.
Additional Information:
- Ensure clear scans for accurate formatting.
- If opting for desktop publishing (DTP), refunds cannot be provided for unclear scans.
